THE FIVE ESSENTIALS

Everything that belongs with it.

Match the part code.

02 / Battery charger

BC-40

External battery charger

Manufacturer specifies: BC-40 supplied external battery charger; BC-65 optional for NP-40 with its battery adapter. Use external charger. Battery cannot charge through the camera AC adapter. NP-40N is the supplied F470-specific battery; manual explicitly directs buyers to NP-40 for spares. No SD/SDHC. Type M reader compatibility must be checked; the old DPC-R1 reader description covers only 16–512 MB and is not a blanket recommendation for every Type M card.

03 / USB cable

F470 USB cable

For photo transfer

Photo transfer only — does not charge the camera

Use the original model-specific cable for photo transfer. Original Fujifilm FinePix F470 supplied USB cable (manufacturer manual does not publish a part number). USB photo transfer does not charge the battery.

05 / Photo-transfer reader

xD-Picture Card reader

Choose USB-C, Lightning, or USB-A

For the suggested 512 MB xD-Picture Card Type M (DPC-M512). USB xD-Picture Card reader explicitly compatible with Type M cards. Match the connector to your phone or computer.

Accessory illustrations show categories, not the exact appearance of every part. Retailer links are searches; check the seller’s compatibility list before buying.

Charge the battery outside the camera.

Get the photos onto your phone.

Turn the camera off, remove its memory card and use the matching reader above. Choose the reader connector for your device: USB-C, Lightning or USB-A. Use Photos or Files to import. Copy your photos before deleting or formatting the card.
